Meet The Musher

Hey There! Thanks for taking the time to visit us! My name is Anna and I live in the beautiful state of Michigan. I run a small sprint racing kennel consisting of 9 dogs, 7 of which are sled dogs and the other 2 are pets. (You can meet them by clicking on the Small 'N' Mighty Racing Sled Dogs link above)

We also have a few other critters around here including one sassy cat and 1 horse.

I grew up with dogs and have always lived with at least 2 since the day I was born. I always took part in feeding, taking care of the dogs, and training. I started training my own dogs myself when I was about 8 years old. 
About 8 years ago I got "bit by the bug", as they say, and started running sled dogs. This year of 2014 will be my 5th year racing. 

I am also an avid horseback rider and have been riding for about 13 years. I usually just ride for fun but I have been known to compete a few times. I was in 4-H for 3 years and got the chance to go to fair once with a horse, goat, and a rabbit. I also barrel raced for 3 years with a local horse club.


 A few other things that occupy my time are photography, writing, reading, and web design.
